Personal Development Course
This is a ten week course delivered with a colleague using dramatherapy methodology. Each session is of two hours duration. Two different age groups are catered for - between 12yrs and 18yrs and adults over 18yrs. Please contact me for course brochure.
Self-care and Handling Stress Course
Can be run as a day workshop or as a residential weekend course. It's about helping people take direct personal action to work with the 'good' stressors and to minimise the 'bad' stressors in their lives.

Transition to pre-school or mainstream school for children with down syndrome
This two hour presentation for parents of children from 2yrs - 4yrs who are entering the first stage of their formal education offers information and tips to make the transition as easy as possible.
Behaviour in children with Down syndrome from 7yrs to 11yrs
This two hour presentation for parents addresses behaviour issues and the difficulty children with poor language skills may have when entering play and communicating.
Puberty and Sexuality in children with Down syndrome
This two hour presentation provides parents with information to help them understand the developing child as he/she enters adolescence.
Transition to adulthood for parents of children with down syndrome
This two hour presentation addresses the issues young people deal with in their lives. It includes the issues involved when moving from school to service, siblings leaving home and dealing with bereavement.
Sibling relationships
This two hour presentation for parents provides information on the relationship between brothers and sisters as they grow and develop.
